Sláinte! Theatre
We are Sláinte! Theatre. Sláinte! Theatre is a London-based, emerging theatre company which aims to tell authentic stories from Irish and Scottish Voices through new writing and devised works. We ensure to provide a platform and support for Scottish and Irish creatives in all aspects of their theatre-making practice, and thrive to create a network for Irish and Scottish creatives in London and to nurture a community of Celtic artists.
We work with, and support, early-career artists in bringing new their work to the stage. Our monthly events host an array of new writing, music, poetry, and performance. We look forward to continuing to produce and expand the work we support through partnered and in-house productions through the rest of 2024.
Meet the Team
Creative Producer & Company Director
Iona Bremner (she/her)
Having grown up in a village on the West Coast of Scotland, Iona is passionate about embracing people and communities through collaborative engagement within the arts. Iona is an independent theatre-maker and arts producer with her work based in England, Scotland and beyond. Iona came to London in 2021 to complete her Masters in Creative Producing at The Royal Central School of Speech and Drama, and very quickly became aware of the unspoken cultural differences she felt between London and home.

Kari Hall (they/them)
From the outskirts of Edinburgh, Kari moved to London in 2020 to attend drama school and pursue their love of acting. Soon after graduating Kari's burning passion for theatre making paved way for cofounding Slàinte Theatre. Through Sláinte, Kari has been able to explore acting, directing and playwrighting with their debut performance of "Shepherd's Warning" with Sláinte in Spring 2024. Kari will be starting their Masters at Central School Of Speech and Drama in Writing for Stage and Broadcast Media this September.

Aaron Devine (he/him)
Aaron is an actor and writer from Belfast. After graduating from the Royal Central School of Speech and Drama in 2022, he was eager to find a Celtic community in London, and luckily found that in Sláinte. He's particularly interested in the unique relationship between people of Irish and Scottish heritage, and feels strongly about producing authentic Celtic stories. He started off as an actor in one of our 'Heads or Tales' events, and kept coming back! He came on board as Co-Artistic Director in November 2023.
